EJ Gallo Redwood Creek
A website design and build to launch the Redwood Creek wine range in the UK to reflect its Californian spirit and rich, flavourful experience. Our design evokes the feeling of excitement associated with the great outdoors, mixed with the contentment of kicking back with a glass of red wine at the end of a hectic day.
Using the US site as a basis for the design, we needed to bring the visual style in line with a UK audience. We also needed to support the distinctive brand premise of the "spirit of the outdoors" through a high value outdoor prize competition, one that will really grab consumer's attention.
Our target audience were men, aged 35-64, who lead active personal lives and love outdoor pursuits such as rambling, fishing and sailing. The design reflects this adventure, displaying the content a poster attached to the tree background. We also used less illustration and more photography, keeping the rich, warm, autumn-themed colours and running through the imagery.
